Litherland
Remyca FC Res 7
v 0 Capenhurst
Villa FC ..... Not
a great deal to say about this one, as
we never turned up. 3-0 down at half
time, and it didn't get any better in
the second half, as we conceded a
further four goals. We need to get our
heads up quick and get up for the next
match, Ellesmere Port at home.
West
Kirby FC Res
0 v 2 Capenhurst
Villa FC Res ..... Unlike
the first team, the ressies had a
great day at West Kirby, coming away
with a fine 2-0 result. After a
goalless and even first half, we
bagged a brace in the second period,
with Youngster Tom Murray
giving Cape a fully deserved lead on
51mins 1-0. Cape remained on top, and
evergreen campaigner Rob Macdowell,
who also took the Cape MoM vote,
smashed home a cracker on 78 mins, to
make the game safe at 2-0, and secure
the three points, against what was a
decent, young, West Kirby outfit. Well
Done Lads !

Chester
Nomads FC Res 1
v 1 Capenhurst
Villa FC Res ..... A
good hard working performance from the
lads, and a decent point, but a late
equaliser from Nomads made it feel
like a loss. Nevertheless, a
confidence boosting unbeaten start to
the season. Mackenzie James
gave Cape an early lead on 8 mins,
after good play from Matty Hickman,
1-0. And we looked comfortable
throughout, until that late leveller
on 85 mins, which broke Cape hearts.
Heads up lads. Cape MoM on the night
was the lively Matty Hickman.

Capenhurst
Villa FC 6 v 5
Ellesmere Port Town FC ..... Well
what a game this was, as Cape just
about came out on top, in this hard
fought local Derby. Ryan Nicol
put Cape ahead with a well taken goal
on 14 mins 1-0, but Port replied on 20
mins with a screamer 1-1. Just 4 mins
later Cape MoM on the day Ellis
Williams levelled 2-2. But 3 mins
later we were 3-2 down, and then Luke
Edwards scored for Cape on 39 mins
3-3, Half time. Phew !! The second
half was pretty much the same,
swinging from end to end. The visitors
went 4-3 up on the hour, then 5-3 to
the good on 64 mins. But a superb solo
goal from Rowan Whelan made it
5-4 on 70 mins and Rowan then
headed Cape level on 74 mins, 5-5. And
it was youngster Charlie
Fitzsimmons who had the final
word, popping up with a neat finish,
and the
winner on 81 mins. Leaving Ellesmere
Port shell-shocked, and a scoreline of
6-5 to Cape, with three welcome points
to boot. This'll bring the crowds back
:)

FC
Bootle 5 v 1 Capenhurst
Villa FC ..... First
team heads are a little bowed at the
minute, as we continue to concede
goals at a rate of knots. On the whole
not our worst performance, but Bootle
were far too strong on the night. A
decent win against Port and 3
points midweek lifted spirits, but an
average of almost 6 goals per game
conceded has to be improved. Matty
Dodds netted a consolation goal
late on, with Dan Walker taking
the Cape MoM on the night.

Capenhurst
Villa FC Res 6
v 0 Sth
Liverpool FC 3rds ..... A
superb display from the ressies was a
sight to behold. We put a decent South
Liverpool side severely to the sword,
by a 6-0 margin. It was a pretty even
first half, and on 32 mins Charlie
Fitzsimmons put us 1-0 up. Half
time 1-0. In the second half Cape went
goal crazy, and what seemed like a
close game in the first half, finished
up far from it, as Cape added 5 goals.
With efforts from Charlie
Fitzsimmons again on 54 mins, then
Matty Hickman made it 3-0 on 67
mins. Charlie Fitzsimmons then
claimed his hat-trick on 74 mins, and
then added his 4th goal on 81 mins,
5-0. The evergreen Steve Hickson
smashed home a free kick on 88 mins
6-0. To round off what was a great
display. A shout out also for our
midfield and defence, as we limited
South to no real chances of any note
whatsoever. Cape MoM today was without
doubt... Charlie Fitzsimmons.
